It is actually quite a beautiful morning here in CNY! We got a few inches of snow last night and the wind has not blown snow off of all the trees, making them look like beautiful arches of white. The sun is out & makes the snow glitter in it's shine. This is what I love about winter. It's peaceful. Ethan and Andrew are up. Ethan is getting another tooth & is again up to his old teething tricks. High fever. Making for a very grumpy sweet little boy. Yesterday was awful! I could not put that baby down. Every time I did, he would start screaming! I did not get anything done yesterday.
New morning, new day, plenty of opportunity, if I can just grab a hold of it! We have to take down all the xmas decorations today. I am so tired of them all, I want my house back to normal again. We have nothing planned for the day, so I am hoping that I can bring the kids over to my parents house for a few hours at some point. Then, being kid free, Steve & I can together tackle some of this crap. Even if we could just get the 1st floor done & maybe get a couple loads of laundry in, that would be a huge help.
Steve has resorted to extortion with the laundry. I am SOOOOO excited over our plans to finish the basement. We are all ready to begin. Just need to go and order the wood & sheetrock to get started. HOWEVER, he has said he is not starting anything down there until I get all the laundry done. UGH!!!! Dirty little tactics he has!
So, I need to get my badongakonk on. This is a phrase a friend has been using quite a bit. Apparently, for those that do not listen to country music, it means I think getting your ass in gear! So, we will see if I can get this done today. At least something!
